(Born December 13, 1975, age 36 years) or better known as Tom DeLonge, is a musician from the United States. DeLonge is widely regarded as one of the guitarist and lead singer of pop punk band Blink-182 as well as guitarist and lead singer of alternative band Angels & Airwaves. He was also a guitarist and vocalist of alternative band Box Car Racer. Growing up in Poway, California, DeLonge found interest in punk rock music as a teenager. Once expelled from Poway High School for being drunk in a basketball game, he attended Rancho Bernardo High School where he met Anne Hoppus. Anne then introduced his brother DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, who have similar interests in music. DeLonge then introduced Mark to Scott Raynor.
Three of them form a Blink-182 and soon became one of the most popular rock band in the 1990s to the 2000s. Over time, Travis Barker replaced Raynor Scott. Blink-182 into the vacuum in 2005. After that, DeLonge began to focus on his project Angels & Airwaves. Blink-182 re-formed in 2009. DeLonge also open a business in the field of non-musical. He created a social networking site called Modlife, and two clothing companies. In 2001, he started Atticus Clothing and Macbeth Footwear along with Mark Hoppus. Currently, DeLonge has sold its stake in Atticus Clothing and became sole owner of Macbeth Footwear. His first musical instrument was the trumpet, which is a Christmas gift from her parents when she was 11 years old. I just cared about skateboarding and music. "DeLonge first played guitar at a friend's house one afternoon listening to the song Bad Religion kertika. He got his first guitar in his first year in high school as a birthday present to-15. DeLonge then spend a lot of time learning the songs descendents. DeLonge's first music events called Big Oily Men, a band where he was the only constant member. Although it has a great interest in music, being a musician is not his goal. DeLonge was originally aspired to be firefighters and participate in The San Diego Cadet Program. DeLonge expelled from Poway High School when his first year in 1991 after being caught drunk at a basketball game. He later attended Rancho Bernardo High School for the remainder of her high school years. The song "Dick Lips" was written based on his experiences out of school. When he was when he returned to Poway High School at the third year, students select it as the Homecoming King even though his name does not exist in the election ballot. In three of these also, DeLonge parents divorced when he was 18, which later inspired the writing of Blink-182 song "Stay Together for the Kids"
